COMMENTS

Alan is the most passionate man you can imagine on a football pitch. He loves his football and his determination and will to win are an example to the rest of the squad. He hates losing and it’s sometimes best to avoid him straight after a defeat, at least until he’s had a smoke to chill out!!! Arguably the best defender at the club Al is strong, brave and excellent in the air for a relatively small guy (okay medium).

Alan also helps with the running of the club and takes care of collecting cons and sorting the Pontoon. He’s also a massive Liverpool fan (which makes him alright in my book) and he spends most Saturdays in the Hotel – like any Cwmcarn player worth his salt these days! – before shooting off home to watch the mighty Reds win again on Match of the Day.
