Ooarrrghh, ooarrrghhh!! Not sure if that’s pirate speak or tractor driver lingo but either way those are what I think of when Gary opens his mouth! An exile of Plymouth, Gary still has Pilgrim blood running through his veins and is an avid supporter. Infact, we’ve hardly seen him for the last two years as he’s always down at Home Park watching his idols get beat!! Thankfully, for us at least, he’s finally realised that even playing for Cwmcarn FC isn’t as torturous as watching Argyle!! ;)

Anyway, to the playing field and the man is a class act. Abercarn’s loss definitely our gain! A ball playing centre back with a bite! All the ingredients of a perfect defender. He’s also virtually unbeatable in the air, no mean feat for a relatively small guy. Gary loves a battle and backs out of nothing. He’s not afraid of confrontation either and has the broken nose to prove it! Sometimes though we have to tell him the guy in black is not the one he is supposed to confront tho!!

Back at the ranch (Hotel!), Gary’s the alter ego of his on pitch persona. Quiet and assuming, he tends to slip in and out before the crazies take over. Can’t say I blame him! That’s fine by me as long as he sticks around for many seasons to come…
