Well well well, where the hell do we start here? After playing with chairman Pontins for their works teams on Wednesday nights, Adrian (quickly retitled German due to our Irish Aid) was tapped up to commit his Saturdays to Cwmcarn. After a good pre-season, German made an instant impact by coming on a sub against Maesglas to score a winner 6 minutes into injury time. Welcome to the Newport + District League mate. Although goal scoring isn't the biggest part of Germans game, he managed 4 in as many games for the 2nd team before being promoted to 1st team duties. Bieng German, he's typically efficient in the midfield area, constantly breaking up play and using the ball wisely. With a good engine behind him and the ability to put himself about for a such a small lad, it's no surprise to hear that he played a semi professional standard in his younger days back in his own country.
