COMMENTS:

After being a good left hand sided player during his youth and a couple of cameo appearances in The South Wales Amateur League for Ynysddu, it was at Pontymister where Lee began learning his trade as a goalkeeper, Buddy Lewis Pontin was quickly on hand to recommend him to Cwmcarn and he took the number 1 spot in his 1st season. Superb reflexes, accurate kicking, good reading of the 1 on 1 situations and fine distribution, Lee emotionally won the 1st team Players Player Award in his 1st season. To his credit, he's missed less than a handful of games in the time that's been here, and that's a massive plus to have a keeper of his calibre and commitment at this level.
 
Off the pitch Lee is even more quiet than he is on it. Happy to have the odd pint before shooting home to watch Match Of The Day, he does like the odd outing of the boys absorbing the atmosphere around him. To have a keeper this good, this young is massive for the club and we all hope to persuade him to continue his performances in the sticks, rather than to pursue his ambition of refereeing for at least the next decade. HE WORKSSSSS OUTTTTT.
