To be honest as Player Profile’s go, this is going to be a pretty tame one. The truth is I don’t know Tim well enough to pull his leg or to muse about what a great bloke he is. I just haven’t known the boy long enough to give you any good stories. But that’s the beauty of running this football team. It’s about bringing together a bunch of lads who perhaps wouldn’t even have otherwise said hello to each other in the street. I for one think that’s wicked!

Anyway, what I will say about Tim is that every football club needs a guy like him. I don’t think I’m doing him a disservice to suggest he’s maybe not the world’s most gifted footballer. Indeed, I’d be surprised if he’d seen a football prior to joining us last season! But for attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn and get better – look no further. He’s a refreshing change from some of the prima donna players who think they know it all and to whom training is a foreign word.

The other thing that makes Tim a pleasure to have in the squad? Taking part. This boy has involved himself in everything we do as a Club. Bought a Club t-shirt? Check. Bought a Club jacket? Check. Presentation night? Check. Tour? ‘Oh yes’, he said I’ll have some of that. That’s what it’s all about boys….
